A lovely week!!

Well this i s my second post this week despite the fact that i have been really busy on the thrifting and makeover front. Will post pics of thrifting finds soon but first wanted to share these makeover projects with you all.

The folding stools were from ebay a bargain at 99p! The bar stools were another thrifty find at £3 for the pair from the car boot sale. A lick of paint and some scrummy fabric later......

Am really pleased with how they have turned out, didnt take that long either. Just got to get on with the dresser now!

Also today i received my order from Laura Ashley. These lovely gorgeous baskets to hold my fabric stash.

Long time no post!!!

I have been totally slack on the blog front these past few weeks. So very busy and so little time.

I have however been lucky to find some real treasures whilst out thrifting.

Some of which are in the photo above, the rest will be posted when i have a little more time.

As for the rest of my week i have a work in progress. My dresser. Its the third one that i have had, last 2 were sold to fund various purchases!! Im currently sanding this and have the undercoat and paint ready. As a great fan of Farrow and Ball's Dimnity, i intended to use that again but homebase had sold out, so i am using Lime White. Hopefully will get the desired effect!! Am going to line the inside this time with Laura Ashley pink and white polka dot wallpaper. So i had better get on. Will post the 'after' shots a soon as paint has dried!!
